Generali Berlin Half Marathon 2027 takes place on Sunday 4 April 2027 in Berlin (21K). KiRun sells it as a travel package with selected hotel and on-site assistance, from 390 € per person. The race bib is guaranteed while the KiRun allocation lasts: whether it is included in the price, and its cost if not, is explained in the bib section below, together with the hotel and what is included.
One of the fastest half marathons in Europe: a flat, very wide course in the heart of Berlin, past the Brandenburg Gate, Unter den Linden, the Cathedral and Potsdamer Platz. It is run in spring with ideal temperatures, among tens of thousands of runners and a crowd that cheers you along every kilometre. It is the German stage of the SuperHalfs circuit: perfect for chasing a personal best or for discovering the city on the run.
B&B Hotel Berlin Alexanderplatz The B&B Hotel Berlin Alexanderplatz is an ideal choice for Berlin Half Marathon runners. A few steps from Alexanderplatz, one of the most iconic squares of the German capital, the hotel has easy access to public transport and makes it easy to reach the race start and finish area near the Brandenburg Gate. Rooms are modern, soundproofed and have all the essential comforts: air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV and private bathroom. The buffet breakfast, available for a supplement, offers a wide choice that also suits athletes. Thanks to its central location, the hotel is also perfect for those who want to combine sport and sightseeing, with the main sights easily reached on foot or in a few minutes by metro.

Berlin is the third annual stage of the SuperHalfs circuit.
A fast, flat course in the heart of Berlin, starting and finishing near the Brandenburg Gate. You run on wide boulevards: Unter den Linden, the Cathedral and Museum Island, Alexanderplatz, Potsdamer Platz and the central districts, with wide bends and almost no elevation gain. It is part of the SuperHalfs circuit and one of the fastest half marathons in Europe. In early April the day starts at around 4-7 degrees and reaches 11-14 in the afternoon, with a chance of light rain and wind between the buildings. Coach's tips: dress in layers, keep a dry top for after the race, don't get carried away by the pack in the first 3 kilometres and save something for the final straight towards the Brandenburg Gate.
Friday: arrival in Berlin, check-in at the B&B Hotel Berlin Alexanderplatz and first contact with KiRun assistance on site. Saturday: bib collection with our staff, who go with you and explain the logistics, group shakeout run with the KiRun coach in the centre, free time in the city and the pre-race briefing at the KiRun desk in the hotel, covering kit, pacing and access to the start pens. Sunday: breakfast at the hotel, walk or metro to the start area at the Brandenburg Gate, the race and the KiRun meeting point at the finish to celebrate in your KiRun vest. Monday: breakfast and home, or an extra night if you want to visit Berlin at a slower pace.
Berlin can be reached by plane from Italy, direct or with one stop depending on your departure airport: as explained in «The flight», you can book it yourself and send us the details, or ask us to add the flight to the package. Berlin Brandenburg airport is south-east of the city and is connected to the centre by regional trains and the S-Bahn, with convenient stops for Alexanderplatz. In the city you get around by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and on foot: the hotel is a few steps from Alexanderplatz, so on race morning you reach the start and finish area near the Brandenburg Gate without stress, and after the finish you are back in your room in a few minutes by metro.
No: KiRun does not offer the September Berlin Marathon. Is the bib guaranteed? Yes, registration is open and the bib from the KiRun allocation costs 125 €, added to the package price, while places last. Can I bring a non-running companion? Of course, with the companion rate without a bib: just ask us for the quote. If I travel alone, do I have to pay for a single room? Only if you want one, with a supplement of 215 €; otherwise we pair you with another runner. What if I get injured before departure? Basic medical insurance is included, while cancellation cover for injury and illness up to the day of departure can be added for 25 €. When do I pay? When you book we tell you the deposit and the balance deadline.
