As for the long race, it will cover a good 44 km with an elevation gain of 2050 m almost entirely on trails and dirt roads.
The route is highly spectacular touching some enchanting corners of the Biellese, starting from Mount Casto, continuing through the pastures of Monduro and Carcheggio and climbing to Bocchetto Sessera (1380m) via the classic mule track used for transhumance with incomparable views of the Biellese mountains and the Piedmont Alps.
The race entry into Oasi Zegna leads first to Mount Massaro, then to the characteristic Scheggiola hut, past the Baraccone alpine pasture and across the beautiful humpback bridge to the Piana del Ponte hut, where athletes will find festive refreshments.
Here the trail begins to climb again to pass alongside the Militia bridge, reach the Casa del Pescatore and climb deep into the pine forest to the beautiful Artignaga alpine pasture and back to Bocchetto Sessera.
A beautiful path then leads trailers to Pratetto, then to Fraz.Trabbia di Callabiana, a long traverse leads to Locato, to then face the last ruggedness of the day, the climb to the locality “Quadetto.” From here a traverse through the woods allows to reach the hamlet Colma and downhill return to the starting point.
The start is scheduled for 7 a.m. for those who will participate in the 44 km, at 9 a.m. for those who will take the start of the 20 km (850 m+)and at 9:30 a.m. the start of the 8 km (non-competitive walk, registration on site) will be given.

The event is a real advertisement to make known some almost unknown corners of the territory, small jewels that the Biella area gives to those who love to immerse themselves in nature.
This event is distinguished by the atmosphere of conviviality and celebration.
