Start on the Champs-Élysées, finish on Avenue Foch a stone's throw from the Arc de Triomphe: in between, Bastille, the Bois de Vincennes, the Seine embankments with Notre-Dame and the Eiffel Tower, and the Bois de Boulogne. One of the biggest marathons in the world, with tens of thousands of runners and crowds everywhere. An almost flat course with a few rolling stretches in the parks, spring weather. One to run at least once in a lifetime.

You start on the Champs-Élysées and finish on Avenue Foch, a short walk from the Arc de Triomphe. In between you run past Place de la Concorde and Rue de Rivoli, reach the Bastille, cross the Bois de Vincennes, come back along the Seine with Notre-Dame and the Eiffel Tower in view, and close through the Bois de Boulogne. The course is almost flat, with some gentle rolling in the woods and a few riverside tunnels where your GPS signal may wander. April in Paris usually brings 6-9 degrees early on and 14-17 by midday, with the odd shower. Coach's advice: keep the pace controlled in the crowded opening kilometres, drink from the first stations and save something for the final seven.
Friday: arrive in Paris, check in at the Ibis Paris La Défense Esplanade and meet the KiRun staff, who run through timings and logistics for the weekend. Saturday: bib collection with our team, an easy group shake-out run with the KiRun coach, free time in the city or an optional guided excursion, then the pre-race briefing with advice on kit, pacing and getting to the start. Sunday: breakfast at the hotel, a short metro ride towards the Champs-Élysées, the race, and the KiRun meeting point after the finish to share the story of your 42 kilometres. Monday: breakfast and departure, or add an extra night and see Paris at an easier pace.
Paris is reached by air from Italy, with direct flights from the main cities or one stop depending on your departure airport. The flight is not included: you can book it yourself or tell us what you need, as explained in the 'Flight' section. The city's airports are Charles de Gaulle, Orly and Beauvais, all linked to the centre by trains or shuttle services. The hotel sits in La Défense, a business district well served by public transport: from the nearest station, metro line 1 runs straight to Charles de Gaulle-Étoile and the Champs-Élysées, so on race morning you only need a short metro hop. Airport transfers and race-day transfers are not included in the package.
Is the bib really guaranteed? Yes, the official bib is guaranteed and costs 300€ on top of the package price. Can I bring someone who is not running? Of course, just ask us for the non-running companion rate. If I travel alone, do I have to pay the single supplement? Only if you want your own room, which costs 195€: otherwise we will pair you with another runner. What happens if I get injured before the start? The optional insurance, priced at 5% extra, covers trip cancellation for injury and illness up to the day of departure. When do I pay? When you book we tell you the deposit and the balance deadline.
