Seville Marathon 2027 takes place on Sunday 21 February 2027 in Seville (42,195 km). KiRun sells it as a travel package with selected hotel and on-site assistance, from 445 € per person. The race bib is guaranteed while the KiRun allocation lasts: whether it is included in the price, and its cost if not, is explained in the bib section below, together with the hotel and what is included.
Why run the Seville Marathon One of the fastest marathons in Europe: the organisers describe the course as the flattest in Europe, with only 10 metres of elevation gain and 38 bends. Ideal for chasing a personal best: a smooth course, generally favourable winter weather and a start organised in waves and time pens. A city and monumental course: the race crosses Seville through areas such as Plaza de España, Avenida de la Constitución, Puerta de Jerez, Parque de María Luisa and Paseo de las Delicias. A fast-growing event: the 2027 edition has 20,000 bibs available, a new participation record compared with the 17,000 runners of 2026. Time limit 6 hours: the finish line closes at 15:00, according to the official rules.
The KiRun package includes a stay at the Catalonia Santa Justa hotel, a modern and comfortable property in a convenient area for the AVE station, the historic centre and the race area. Its location lets you enjoy Seville freely, easily reaching the main sights and organising your marathon weekend at its best. The Catalonia Santa Justa is a 4-star hotel in the Santa Justa district, practical both for the AVE station and for visiting Seville's historic centre. The hotel is at José Laguillo 8, 41003 Sevilla, about 15 minutes' walk from the historic centre.
3 nights with bed and breakfast. KiRun assistance on site, KiRun race vest, training plan (you can train with the KiRun group, send us your feedback, the results of the tests we recommend, your questions and all the information you need to enjoy this wonderful experience with peace of mind).

A completely flat city loop, described by the organisers as the flattest in Europe: ten metres of elevation gain and 38 bends, almost all of them wide and easy to read. You run in the heart of Seville, passing Plaza de España, Avenida de la Constitución, Puerta de Jerez, Parque de María Luisa and Paseo de las Delicias, with the monumental centre alongside you for much of the race. In February mornings are cool, around 6-9 degrees, rising to 16-18 in the middle of the day, with skies often clear and rain infrequent. Coach's tips: don't let the flat course trick you in the first kilometres, hold the pace you practised in training and take care of your fuelling from kilometre 25 onwards.
Friday: arrival in Seville, check-in at the Catalonia Santa Justa and bib collection with the KiRun staff, who explain how the start area is organised and what you will find at the expo. Saturday: group shakeout run with the KiRun coach, free time in the historic centre and the pre-race briefing at the KiRun desk in the hotel, covering kit, pacing and Sunday morning logistics. Sunday: early breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the start area, the race and the KiRun meeting point after the finish to share your race. Monday: breakfast, a last walk around the city and home, or an extra night if you want to enjoy Seville at a slower pace. KiRun assistance is with you throughout the weekend.
Seville airport is just outside the city and is connected to the centre by bus and taxi. From Italy you fly, direct or with one stop depending on your departure airport; if you prefer not to arrange it yourself, see the «The flight» section of this page and we will add it to the package. In the city you mostly get around on foot, with tram, metro and buses for longer trips. The hotel is in the Santa Justa district, a few minutes' walk from the historic centre and close to the AVE station, handy if you choose to arrive by train from Madrid. On race morning you reach the start area without complicated transport, with the KiRun staff giving you directions.
Are bibs still available? Yes, the KiRun allocation is currently open and the bib is guaranteed at the stated cost of 125 €. Is it a good race for a personal best? Yes: the course is almost entirely flat, with few bends and a pace that is easy to keep steady. Can I bring a non-running companion? Of course, with the companion rate without a bib: just ask us for the quote. I am travelling alone, do I have to pay for a single room? No: the single supplement is 295 €, but if you prefer we can pair you with another runner. What if I get injured before departure? Basic medical insurance is included; for 25 € you add cancellation cover for injury and illness up to the day of departure. When do I pay? When you book we tell you the deposit and the balance deadline.
