We will begin the excursion with a splendid view of the Grand Harbour from the Upper Barracca Gardens.Then we will visit St. John&#8217;s Co-Cathedral with masterpieces by Caravaggio this Cathedral boasts an exceptionally beautiful marble floor unique in the world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will stroll down Republic Street and walk past the Grand Master&#8217;s Palace and the newly restored St. George&#8217;s Square, then finish our excursion with the multimedia show the Malta Experience that will bring to life the history of Malta over the centuries<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MDINA &#8211; Tuesday and Friday (Full day) 70\u20ac<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Today&#8217;s excursion takes us to the central part of Malta dominated by the medieval walled city of Mdina the Ancient capital of Malta. Narrow, winding alleys dating back to medieval times lead us to the imposing ramparts that offer a splendid panoramic view of the island. Along the way you can admire various styles of architecture including Siculo-Norman palaces and other historically important Baroque-style buildings. Time seems to stand still in the silent city so much so that it is considered a film producer&#8217;s paradise<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Leaving Mdina by the Great Gate we stop at the Catacombs of the Early Christians in Rabat and then proceed to the cliffs of Dingli.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After lunch we visit the San Anton Botanical Gardens at the Presidential Palace, which will be viewed from the outside. There will also be time to visit the Craft Village in Ta&#8217; Quali and at the end we will surprise you with the majestic dome of Mosta one of the largest in Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in this excursion lunch is included in the price<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GOZO Thursday\/ Saturday (full day) 80\u20ac<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After a crossing of about 20 minutes we arrive at the port of Mgarr where we will immediately notice Gozo&#8217;s unique atmosphere. Your guide will explain the history of the Prehistoric Temples of Ggantija, the oldest erected monuments in the world that predate even the pyramids of Egypt. This will be followed by a visit to the medieval citadel of Victoria, and then on to Xlendi Bay, which resembles a fjord, and the spectacular Dwejra. Gozo and well renowned for handicrafts especially handmade lace and woollen garments. Guests in Gozo are always fascinated by the island&#8217;s lush nature and its serene atmosphere that how much more different it is from &#8216;Major Island Malta <\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(lunch is included in the price of this excursion)<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">TEMPLE OF HAGAR QIM, LIMESTONE HERITAGE AND MARKET &#8211; Friday (full day) 75\u20ac<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The excursion begins with a tour of one of Malta&#8217;s oldest stone quarries that has been transformed into an attraction for tourists and locals alike and offers a vivid account of one of Malta&#8217;s main productions the use of limestone for construction purposes, a tradition that dates back thousands of years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The fascination of Maltese antiquity will be explained at Hagar Qim Malta&#8217;s main prehistoric site overlooking the wide expanse of the blue Mediterranean Sea and the islet of Filfla. From Hagar Qim You will proceed to Wied iz- Zurrieq, from where possible to travel by boat to the Blue Grotto, well known for its crystal clear waters (weather permitting, boat ride price not included).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After lunch we will travel through various landscapes and extensive Vineyards until we arrive at Marsaxlokk Fishermen&#8217;s Village. There will be free time to tour the local market located on the waterfront. Later we will proceed to the Ghar Dalam Cave of Darkness where archaeologists have discovered evidence of the oldest human settlement on the Maltese Islands.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(on this excursion lunch is included in the price)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The VILLAGE OF IRON ARM &#8211; Friday full day 38\u20ac<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the 1980s days of the film set for the production of the movie musical &#8216;Popeye,&#8217; Popeye&#8217;s Village has been transformed into a special place for fun for all families. Popeye and his famous friends will welcome and entertain you throughout the day with their various activities. Guests will enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime movie experience, where with the animation team you can become an actor for a day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Other attractions include Santa&#8217;s toy village the boat ride at Anchor Bay, access to water games and water slides swimming pool sundeck with sun loungers and umbrella children can also have fun in Malta&#8217;s largest Trampoline area. Don&#8217;t miss the chance to spend a fun-filled day at this original movie facility during your stay in Malta <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Three Cities &#8211; Saturday (morning &#8211; half day) 42\u20ac<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Discover the Grand Harbour area parallel to Valletta is known as the Three Cities &#8211; Vittoriosa, Senglea and Cospicua, in which the knights of the Order of St. John initially settled in 1530. Traveling through Cospicua you will arrive in Vittoriosa where you will stroll along narrow streets shaded by historic buildings, including the first hotels of the different languages of the Order. At the Vittoriosa pier you will be boarded on a typical harbor boat (dghajsa) for a tour of the picturesque Creeks of the harbor. From the Sanglea Garden on the far point of the peninsula there is a stunning 360-degree view of the large harbor where you will notice the imposing Fort St. Angelo, from which Grandmaster La Valette led the defense of the island during the great siege of 1565 <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ANIMATED EXCURSION OF FORT RINELLA 30\u20ac<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At Fort Rinella, where the Armstrong cannon of no less than 100 tons-the largest cannon in the world-is located, history is relived. Through historical representations and detailed descriptions, this excursion provides an insight into the life of the Victorian garrison during the late 1800s at this particular fort.
