Dubai is one of the most populated metropolises in the United Arab Emirates, as well as the capital of the emirate of the same name. Located south of the Persian Gulf on the Arabian Peninsula, it has more than 3 million inhabitants and holds the record for the world’s tallest skyscraper, the Burj Khalifa, some 830 meters high. At its foot stands the famous Dubai Fountain. But it doesn’t end there, because more than a city, Dubai is a giant amusement park for young and old alike, with so much on offer that it can be really tricky to get your bearings. Chock-full of skyscrapers, luxury hotels, gigantic shopping malls and a plethora of amusement parks, Dubai is an extraordinary mix of modernity, luxury and tradition. Well yes, in Dubai you can also wander through the many souks and historic districts, which will captivate you with their colors and scents! But now let’s find out what are the 5 most unmissable attractions in Dubai.

Deep Dive Dubai
At 60 meters deep and over 14 million liters of water, Deep Dive Dubai is the deepest pool in the world. There is even an actual underwater city at the bottom, all for you to explore. This attraction is designed especially for diving enthusiasts, an activity reserved for those with the appropriate certification. To dive and snorkel on the surface, on the other hand, one only needs to be over 10 years old. There are 3 packages dedicated to visitors: Discover, dedicated to those who do not hold any patent but still wish to have a memorable experience in the company of an expert guide; Develop, with which to take part in freediving or diving courses, accompanied by world-class instructors; and Dive, dedicated to certified professionals, able to reach 60 meters depth.

Miracle Garden Dubai
Talk about a truly unmissable garden: an expanse of colorful flowers (more than 150 million) and plants from around the world that will leave you speechless. The park covers more than 72,000 square meters and offers a long list of structures made entirely of flowers, including the largest floral installation on the planet: a life-size version of Emirates’ A380 aircraft. Also extraordinary is the Umbrella Tunnel, one of the garden’s most creative areas, by virtue of an incredible ceiling made entirely of inverted umbrellas arranged in huge rings separated by bands of colorful flowers. The park is accessible daily between November and May.

The Frame
Those who have already visited it claim it is a truly spectacular, one-of-a-kind attraction. Yes, because there is nothing in the world quite like The Frame. Located between the districts of the old city and the modern expansion of the metropolis, it consists of a giant glass and metal frame, as high as 150 meters. Inside the frame are a series of galleries that will take you on a journey of discovery through the city’s history as you explore the emirate’s extraordinary heritage. Once you reach the rooftop, the Sky Deck, you will have the opportunity to admire a wonderful view of Dubai’s two souls: the old city and the new city. Inside the structure you will also find the Future Dubai gallery, which imagines what the Dubai of the future might look like.

The Palm Jumeirah and the Atlantis
Palm Jumeirah is a city within a city, a true vacationer’s paradise. The gigantic hotel structure forms a huge palm tree stretching out into the Arabian Gulf-a veritable man-made archipelago, endowed with a 4.5-kilometer-long trunk and a fan of fronds chock-full of 5-star hotels and luxury villas. Palm Jumeirah’s outermost crescent measures more than 16 kilometers, and the archipelago is even visible from space! To get around the archipelago, a monorail and several cabs are available, with which you can get to your room, but also to the attractions that dot the great Palm. These include the Atlantis, the extra-luxury hotel that is home to several restaurants belonging to as many celebrity chefs, a large water park and an Atlantis-themed aquarium with tunnels and underwater rooms through which to observe hundreds of marine animals.

Dubai Mall
Among the must-sees in Dubai could not miss the Dubai Mall, one of the largest shopping malls in the world. In addition to more than 1,200 stores, it is home to such incredible attractions as the Great Dubai Aquarium, VR Park, Kidzania, an Olympic-size ice rink, and even the largest indoor ski slope on the planet, complete with lifts and snow-park. Impossible to do it all in one day, as the offerings are truly enormous. As soon as you leave the Dubai Mall you will find before you Dubai’s famous fountains and Burj Lake, at which there is a dancing fountain show every day starting at 6 p.m.

Are you thinking of planning a trip to Dubai but you really have no idea what this ultramodern city offers tourists?
