The tourist importance of the Copenhagen Marathon As we have said over the years, the importance of this sporting event has been gradually increasing, which has meant that it has also become an excellent vehicle for fostering tourism in Danish land. Precisely for this reason, one of the most important events, which is the main outline of the marathon, is given by the Expo set up at the Østerbro Stadium, where there are several exhibitors operating mainly in the sports sector. Of course, it seems almost obvious to point out how participating in the race, or possibly accompanying one of the competitors, is an excellent cue to visit one of the most beautiful and fascinating European capitals. In fact, Copenhagen immediately attracts tourists for the complete absence of frenzy and for the many bicycles that pass through it; in the very center of the city it will be possible to make a stop in a splendid park, Orstedsparken, which is characterized by many small avenues bordering a lake. Shopping enthusiasts will then necessarily have to take a trip to the Stroget, the city center full of stores and businesses, a true paradise for being able to make purchases. Of course, a stop at the Kastellet citadel and finally at the most photographed monument in the city, namely the Little Mermaid, is a must.
